BICYCLE FILM FESTIVAL
FREE WHEELS EAST – COMPLIMENTARY TICKET
FREE WHEELS EAST
Bicycle Film Festival presents a free virtual retrospective screening of Free Wheels East.
Followed by a Q&A with directors Ben Wylson & Jamie Mackenzie.
Introduction by the film’s narrator, Peter Coyote (Emmy-award winning actor including: E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Bitter Moon, Erin Brockovich, A Walk to Remember, The Vietnam War and more).
This feature length documentary tells the story of a truly global adventure. Cousins Jamie and Ben set off on an extraordinary 3 year bikepacking journey; without know-how or training they attempt to ride bicycles on every continent without using airplanes. Surviving near fatal accidents, life threatening illness and even becoming the first to cycle in the desolate East Antarctic; it seems nothing can stop them. Jamie and Ben visit 35 countries, and in so doing change the course of their lives forever. This in-house film also includes a score written and played on a guitar carried with them on their journey.
Tell a friend. Share the film with friends worldwide. Available now through May 31.
