FIFTY50 TWENTY 2020

A cycling event with a difference 11th October 2020 Fifty50 by Velotastic The Fifty50 is an unsupported, unmarshalled adventure, exploring the quiet roads, byways and bridleways in the Hope Valley and surrounding area. With around 60 km of riding, the event is based on the reliability ride format, where not speed, but the ability to successfully complete an un-signed pre-determined route within the 6 hour time limit is the aim. The event is the similar in concept to our previous events. However this time we've added a little bit of a twist. Instead of us sending you a file for the route a few days before the event, when you arrive at the start you'll get a sealed envelope. KING’S CUP GRAVEL FESTIVAL 2020

Welcome to the King’s Cup Gravel Festival. Join thousands of riders in the King’s Forest, Suffolk to take part in the ultimate gravel festival. Wildwood Gravelcross

The original CX Sportive, first run in 2010, Wildwood defined our whole Gravelcross concept. Designed for pace and variety, the route changes constantly; dirt, tarmac, grass, gravel and hardpack, mixing it up and keeping you on the ball. Every part of the course is chosen to keep you moving and keep you pumped; no backing off, no bogging down, just ride everything and keep your pedals turning. This is the event your gravel bike was designed for!

COTSWOLD CROSS ENDURO SPORTIVE

Seven Springs Barns Cheltenham, Gloucerstershire

65km on and off-road sportive utilising quiet roads, green lanes and bridleways around the valleys and villages of the Cotswold Hills south of Cheltenham. Shorter routes are also available. The route is suitable for riders of all abilities and ages of 14 years and over. Gravel, MTB and cyclo cross bikes are recommended and helmets are compulsory. Not suitable for standard road bikes. You can expect a wide range of riding surfaces as well as plenty of mud if it has rained recently. Full refunds available should the event be cancelled due to COVID-19.

The Chilterns Ridge Trail Ride is a fantastic trip through one of the best mountain biking corners of the home counties. Big climbs, rooty, rattly descents and fast, fluid singletrack are your route through the picturesque spring countryside of the Chilterns! The event is fully signposted and supported, with route maps and GPS to help you find your way too, plus rider timing and full catering back at the event HQ. There’s no better way to finish a hard ride than with a cuppa and a bowl of Trail Break’s home made chilli!

RIDE OVERVIEW Escape the city and head to the South Coast for a lumpy 72km off road circuit taking in parts of the South Downs Way & quiet lanes around Lewes & Brighton. With a fully marked route, support marshalls helping along the way & a social race village at the end, this is gravel riding at it's best and the perfect season starter. Wales Dirt Dash

The Wales Dirt Dash is a self-supported bikepacking event in the historic county of Brecknockshire (Breconshire) in Wales, split over two days with an overnight camp, starting and finishing at Tafarn Y Bont Pub in the picturesque village of Govilon near Abergavenny. This is the perfect way to experience the rugged beauty of Wales with off-road cycling, camaraderie and camping (and maybe castles). The Wales Dirt Dash is organised by the crew behind the Dunoon and Dorset Dirt Dashes. RIDE OVERVIEW These hills are famed for some of the finest off road riding in the south and for good reason, the trails and byways are rarely flat but always scenic. This technical course will have you chasing the north downs ridge taking in a mix of bridleway, single track, gravel road and occasional tarmac. DISTANCE: 62KM | ELEVATION: 1066M RIDE DIFFICULTY 3/5 TECHNICAL DIFFICULTY 3/5 PERCENTAGE OF ROUTE OFF ROAD 81% Bike & Tyre Choice: The route has a real mix of terrain and the weather will make a big difference to conditions. Enjoy a spectacular Spring outing across the Surrey Heaths and out to the Devils Punchbowl! Based in the tiny village of Shackleford, near Guildford, this is an accessible event with easy access from the A3, but also perfectly placed to get you right out into the countryside of the Surrey heathland! We’ve put together a fast and furious course, with an entertaining variety of trails, from the unique challenges of the greensand heaths to the unexpected gnarl of the Punchbowl descents! There’s a bewildering network of trails around here, but we’ve used our local knowledge and experience of the area to pick out the very best spring circuit – all you have to do is ride and enjoy!

Battle Gravel 100

Part of the Battle in the Bowl Super CX weekend, Battle Gravel 100 is an open hill challenge with timed stages on the private Battle in Bowl race circuit! The event takes you on a fantastic 100km (or 66 or 33km) open hill ride on the South Downs; starting, finishing on and passing through the Battle in the Bowl race circuit as you take on one, two or three laps of the 33km course! Choose the Gravel Race category and race those timed stages for podium places and prizes, or go for the Gravel Challenge category if you just want to take on the hills without the race element!
