RIDE OVERVIEW A glorious summer day on the amazing Salisbury Plain - the home of gravel riding in the South of England. With miles of fast, empty gravel tracks on MOD land and views of the rolling countryside, this is gravel riding at it's best. 'Outsider Events are excited to welcome the Outsider Gravel Grind. A weekend full of gravel riding and good times! Featuring the Muckle Grind + Mini Grind options of 90 or 50km both options are run in a gravel enduro format. In addition to the Saturday Enduro is our optional self-supported ride-outs on the Sunday which are in aid of Tweed Valley Mountain Rescue. What This 'Adventurer' event will challenge teams over two days across the rough terrain and, along the beautiful tracks and lanes of Dartmoor. Teams of two on MTB, route plan and find hidden checkpoints against the clock, including special time-trial sections. Strategy, planning and route selection will be the key to success. During the Event, teams will need to be self-sufficient in a vehicle with camping gear and food.  We will provide a BBQ at the overnight campsite, it's a great way to meet other teams and have a chin wag in the evening. We’re sure that this news won’t come as a surprise to most of you, but having tried to keep Reiver hopes alive, we must now concede that we won’t all be gathering in Kielder in April. The Dirty Reiver 2021 is now booked in for the weekend of September 11th. We have also agreed an April 2022 date with Forestry England too (weekend of April 23rd). You now have three options: 1. Leave your entry live for September 11th 2. Request a refund 3. Transfer your entry to April 2022 Option 1 is the default, so if you want to ride the event in September, you can sit back and relax, safe in the knowledge that you are entered (actually – get out and keep training).
