Entries Are Open for Yorkshire True Grit Dark Skies Now in its third year, Yorkshire True Grit Dark Skies is firmly positioned on the event calendar. 50 miles through Yorkshire True Grit country, taking on North Yorkshire Forest, Vale, Moor and Trail – at night. Limited again to just 100 riders, this event forms part of the North York Moors Dark Skies Festival. In 2020 there will be barely be any moon (just 3% moon) which should mean the sky is illuminated with stars…and bike lights! 2020 COTSWOLD CROSS ENDURO SPORTIVE

National Star College Ullenwood Manor Rd, Ullenwood, Cheltenham

DISTANCE/TERRAIN 35km, 55km or 75km On and off-road START/FINISH National Star College, Cheltenham PRICE £20 online £25 on the day 75km on and off-road sportive utilizing quiet roads, green lanes and bridleways around the valleys and villages of the Cotswold Hills south of Cheltenham. Shorter routes are also available. The route is suitable for riders of all abilities and ages of 14 years and over. MTBs and cyclocross bikes are recommended and helmets are compulsory. Not suitable for standard road bikes. You can expect a wide range of riding surfaces as well as plenty of mud if it has rained recently.

An unsupported two day gravel ride in the stunning Derbyshire countryside Gravel Gran Fondue - What's that then ? The Gravel Gran Fondue is an unsupported, unmarshalled adventure on the quiet roads, byways and bridleways of the Peak District National Park. Riders have the choice of riding both or either of the days – there is one entry but the choice of how much you ride is entirely up to you. Day one heads out from the edge of Bakewell and explores some of the areas many bridleways, byways and quiet roads and finishes at the village of Hartington. The approximate distance is 100 km. The YD200 for 2020 will be a 200-mile road event within the stunning Yorkshire Dales. This epic road ride can either be an exhausting non-stop effort or a more relaxed if 17,000ft of climbing can be called relaxed, two-day effort. Bike pack your ride or plan a B&B. We take you on a stunning 70km route around the Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park, taking on the most incredible gravel riding in the UK. 2020 Dunoon Dirt Dash

Pucks Rest 54 Victoria Parade, Dunoon

 Bikepackers and gravel cyclists can follow the route for the annual Dunoon Dirt Dash, a self-supported adventure cycling event. Good fitness and even better bike handling and carrying skills are essential for this route, but the effort is amply rewarded with extensive views over Loch Striven, fast singletrails, castles, great cafes and many kilometres of fine gravel tracks. The 133km route, designed by Bikepacking Scotland founder and round the world cyclist Markus Stitz, packs in more than 2000m of climbing and is best ridden in two or three days. It starts and finishes at the Victorian Pier in Dunoon. We are back in 2020 after a rad time in 2019.
