RIDE OVERVIEW A glorious summer day on the amazing Salisbury Plain - the home of gravel riding in the South of England. With miles of fast, empty gravel tracks on MOD land and views of the rolling countryside, this is gravel riding at it's best. NEW for summer 21, choose between a 100km or 70km route for a true summer gravel epic.   DISTANCE: 70KM | ELEVATION: 899M RIDE DIFFICULTY 3/5 TECHNICAL DIFFICULTY 2/5 PERCENTAGE OF ROUTE OFF ROAD 89% Bike & Tyre Choice: The route is almost all off road on fairly fast gravel. Absolutely not suitable for road bikes, mountain bikes will be fine but a bit slow so we strongly recommend a gravel bike with around 40mm tyres. RIDE OVERVIEW A glorious 87km gravel sportive in the charming Cotswolds. Taking in sections of the Roman Fosse Way and off road tracks in the hills including the Cotswolds Way & Monarchs Way, this is a great day on the bike suitable to new & experienced gravel riders in a lovely part of the country. DISTANCE: 87KM | ELEVATION: 1106M RIDE DIFFICULTY 3/5 TECHNICAL DIFFICULTY 2/5 PERCENTAGE OF ROUTE OFF ROAD 60% Bike & Tyre Choice: The route is mostly on gravel tracks, quiet country lanes and a brief section on open country fields. RIDE OVERVIEW Quiet lanes, mixed terrain, sections of the South Downs way & a few tasty climbs makes this a classic off road sportive this Autumn. The beautiful South Downs are best seen on two wheels and away from the crowds. DISTANCE: 73KM | ELEVATION: 1513M RIDE DIFFICULTY 3.5/5 TECHNICAL DIFFICULTY 3/5 PERCENTAGE OF ROUTE OFF ROAD 80% Bike & Tyre Choice: The route has a real mix of terrain but ideal throughout for gravel bikes with around 40mm tyres.
