 UK Cycling Legends team up to bring a new gravel bikepacking event to Dunoon on Scotland’s Adventure Coast in SeptemberCharlie Hobbs, former Bikemonger and founder of the Dorset Gravel Dash, and Markus Stitz, mastermind behind Bikepacking Scotland and singlespeed round the world cyclist, have teamed up with Dunoon Presents and Wild About Argyll to create a brand new overnight bikepacking event in Dunoon on Scotland’s Adventure Coast. CotsDURO is a 100km self-supported no frills road-gravel ride held on the last Saturday of June each year. Ride some of Dorset's finest tracks and trails, taking in the stunning views across the Dorset Downs and Blackmore Vale. The route will incorporate forest singletrack, bridleways, by-ways and the occasional back lane to link it all together. Suitable for Gravel bikes, Cyclocross bikes and XC Mountain bikes. The terrain will be mixed, expect plenty of climbing and descents. Please make sure you're fit enough to ride 100 challenging kilometres.
